Tidal’s New AI Policy

Here's a quick update about me, my music, TIDAL, and AI-generated music.

According to TIDAL’s new Policy, TIDAL doesn’t necessarily block AI-generated music from its platform. According to TIDAL’s own AI policy, however, tracks they identify as being entirely AI-generated are not eligible for royalties.

For me, that means TIDAL is not a priority right now.

What I create is not simply “press a button and upload” music. It involves ideas, lyrics, artistic direction, careful selection, production decisions, atmosphere, and a finished creative expression. However, because the actual audio is generated using AI tools, my songs may still be classified by TIDAL as “entirely AI-generated.”

So my decision is quite simple:

I’m focusing my time and energy on platforms and streaming services where my music can actually receive value, visibility, and fair treatment.

My music (AERIALIS K. and Aerialyn) is still available on the major streaming services, and there’s much more to come. Just don’t expect me to chase a platform that says yes to distribution, but no to royalties.
