Shyness is a Virtue is a heartfelt homage to the music that shaped my late teens and early twenties, deeply rooted in the rich tapestry of UK rock and pop from the early to mid-1980s.
Drawing inspiration from the guitar-driven energy of bands like The Smiths, The Teardrop Explodes, The Cure, and Echo & the Bunnymen—while embracing the melodic sophistication of Tears for Fears, Talk Talk, and the shimmering sounds of new wave and jangle pop—this album blends nostalgia with fresh creativity.
Catchy yet layered, each song features interesting musical twists, weaving introspective yet observant lyrics with a melancholic, yet often wryly witty, perspective.

Here it is! Finally Free, the second album by AERIALIS K!
I started with ideas about how I wanted the songs to sound and then gathered the ingredients. A solid base of jingle-jangle guitars, followed by a thin layer of tambourines and handclaps, and finally, a strong hint of nostalgic English guitar power pop à la 1984.
For each song, I’ve crafted a unique spice blend consisting of melancholy, ambiguous lyrics, catchy choruses, quirky melodic twists, and other tasty little details—each track with its own special mix.
Finally, I let it all mature over time, and now it’s ready to be served!
