‘A Minor Holiday’ – MY Kind of Christmas Album!

The countdown has quietly begun. With just over a month left until Christmas, the world is about to be swallowed—yet again—by a tidal wave of CHRISTMAS!

Soon you won’t be able to turn your head without bumping into a Santa, a glitter-drenched tree, twinkling lights, or some other piece of holiday decor determined to remind you what season it is.

And sure—some people love it. Others… not so much. But whether you’re the type who starts playing carols in October or someone who’d prefer to hibernate until January, one thing is certain: no one escapes this time of year.

So why not embrace it in the most sideways, surprising way possible?

That was the thought that sparked A Minor Holiday, a Christmas album built on wry smiles, sidelong glances, and a slightly skewed view of the season. The idea actually came to life last year, but back then it only resulted in a single lonely holiday track. This year, however, the plan finally took shape.

Over the course of 2025, twelve songs drifted in—some fully formed, others arriving like gifts on a doorstep—and slowly grew into something cohesive. The past weeks have been spent polishing, tweaking, and stitching them together into an album that actually feels like an album, not just a loose collection of seasonal odds and ends.

And today, it crossed the finish line.

The whole package has officially been delivered to DistroKid, who will now shoot it out to a whole flock of streaming services worldwide. Which means there’s nothing left to do but sit back and wait for A Minor Holiday to land on your favorite platform.

And trust me: that won’t be long.

If you’re looking for a Christmas record that doesn’t follow the usual script—one that winks, nudges, and maybe even grumbles lovingly about the season—keep your ears open. This might be the offbeat holiday soundtrack you didn’t know you needed.
